CAT exam or the Common Admission Test

Overview

In order to secure admission to graduate management programs, candidates must take the Common Admission Test (CAT), a computer-based exam. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability make up the three portions of the test.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate (45 per cent aggregate for SC, ST and PWD/DA categories) or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university

The bachelor's degree has to be at least 3 years long and can be completed via distance learning

Candidates in the final year of their undergraduate degree or those awaiting their results are also eligible
